CCATS: Canterbury's agility club

Canterbury Canine Agility Training Society (CCATS) was founded in May 1987 by a group of people who wanted to form a club where they could live, love and focus on the sport of agility.

Today we
offer weekly training classes, from pre-agility to competition, designed so that both those who aspire to become serious agility competitors as well as those who simply want a challenge with their dog can learn in a fun and positive environment. Our members also enjoy participating in the competitive events we host throughout the year.

We also offer our members special deals on training products and even a bit of dog grooming. And if you're in the market for your next agility champion, be sure to check out some really great dogs available for adoption!

Our training grounds are located off Innes Road at Mairehau High School in Christchurch.

Why join CCATS?

Learning agility is a wonderful way to bond with your dog while having fun, getting some exercise (for you and your dog), engaging your dog's mind, and socializing with like-minded people and canines. We are an agility-only club and, what’s more, we’ve been doing it for over twenty years! We have the right resources, the right people to take care of you and your dog's agility needs. Our goal is to make agility training fun for both you and your dog and to provide the training in a positive and relaxed atmosphere.

So whether you want to learn to compete in shows or you'd simply like to challenge yourself and your dog in a fun sport, email us at info@ccats.co.nz and find out how to join!
