CCATS: Canterbury's agility club

Founded in May 1987, Canterbury Canine Agility Training Society (CCATS) is the only club in Canterbury focused exclusively on dog agility – all due to the foresight of a group of people coming together to form a club where they could live, love and focus on the sport of agility.

CCATS offers weekly training to include all aspects of agility training, from pre-agility to show classes. We also host competitive events throughout the year. The fact that CCATS is an agility-only club is the reason why people join. Agility is what we train – nothing else!

Current classes include pre-agility, beginners, novice, intermediate, seniors, and show classes. We also offer our members special deals on training products and even a bit of dog grooming. And if you're in the market for your next agility champion, be sure to check out
some really great dogs available for adoption!

Our training grounds are located off Innes Road at Mairehau High School in Christchurch.

Why join CCATS?

Learning agility is a wonderful way to bond with your dog, to acquire new skills, and to socialize with like-minded people and canines. We are an agility-only club and, what’s more, we’ve been doing it for over twenty years! We have the right resources, the right people and the right club to take care of you and your dog's agility needs.

So whether you want to learn to compete in shows or you'd simply like to give your dog a weekly fun night out, give us a call on (03) 377 1774 or email us at info@ccats.co.nz and find out how to join!
